Pre-transplant in 2020, Paul Lawler’s life was very difficult, spending long periods of time in hospital seriously ill. This image shows just what a difference a year makes. The photos were taken a year apart in September – it’s clear how much of a transformation Paul’s transplant has made to his life – from being so desperately ill while waiting and praying for a transplant in King’s, to being able to attend his and Sandra’s first born sons wedding.
