“I had been diagnosed in 2004/5 with PBC but had remained very well until 2020. However in May last year my health deteriorated and in July I was admitted to the RVH. I had become extremely ill and in need of a donor liver in order to survive. I was lucky
Without the selflessness of my donor and the generosity of their family you would not be looking at this photograph in September 2021. The reality is I would not be here.
I thank God every night and morning for the kindness of their act which allows me to be here. I will be eternally grateful
