DESCRIPTION:ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING \nwill be held online using ZOOM on  \nThursday 21st March 2024 at 7.00 pm \n  \nAll members are invited to our AGM via ZOOM to be held on the above date.  To comply with our Constitution and our obligations to the Charity Commission for NI\, we must hold our AGM to conduct the election of committee members and to consider our annual accounts for the past year. \n  \nOur guest speaker\, who will conduct the election of the committee for 2024\, will be Dr Neil McDougall (Consultant Hepatologist at the RVH).  He will bring us up to date on the personnel and the work currently being undertaken by the Liver Unit. \n  \nWe’ll also be hearing from Dr Johnny Cash\, who will give us an update on the new Encompass programme\, which removes all the traditional paper patient records in the hospital\, and replaces them with an online system.  In due course there will also be an option for patients to access certain information on it. \n  \nIf you would like to take part in the meeting from the comfort of your own home\, please send an email to rvhlsg@gmail.com letting us know that you wish to register. We will then email you back with the joining link\, agenda\, accounts and other papers to be presented on the evening.  \n  \nIf you’ve never taken part in a ZOOM meeting before\, don’t worry.  You just need an email address\, have ZOOM on your smartphone\, iPad\, tablet or laptop\, and you’re ready to go.  You’ll be made most welcome. \n  \nTime permitting we will have a period later in the meeting for everyone to join a small online group so that you can all chat to each other informally for a while – an ideal time to have a coffee and catch up or make new friends. \n  \nHopefully we’ll see you online on the 21st.
